This project included relocations from Terminal1 to Terminal 2 at the San Diego InternationalAirport. The project also included the expansionof security checkpoints and the conversion of theexisting proprietary passenger processing systemin Terminal 1 to the common use passengerprocessing system.

Baker Electric was the electrical contractorfor the new construction of the NCTD SprinterMaintenance Facility. This was a 40,000 SFfacility where the trains will be maintained andstored. Along with the maintenance, the buildinghouses the main dispatch, operations, security,administrative offices, and fueling.

The project includes a new, 11,000 SF baggageclaim building, a 17,000 SF ticketing buildingwith ticketing offices, pre-security restrooms,and additional check-in kiosks, as well as BSOspaces, restrooms, and 1,000 SF of core andshell pre-security concessions. The improvementsalso include renovation and recommissioning ofthe historical building terminal exterior facadeand level 1 interior to the original 1941 terminalarchitectural design.

Baker Electric developed, designed, installed, and managed the performance of an energy efficient retrofit of all exterior lighting at CSU San Bernardino. Retrofit included parking lots, two parking structures, roads and walkways at California State University San Bernardino and Palm Desert Campuses. This project spanned across approximately 384,000 SF.
