Borrego Springs Unified School District was looking to add solar to both their High School and Elementary School in Borrego Springs, California.

Baker Electric was able to install a 792-panel renewable energy system made up of a carport structure and shade structure to offset the energy consumption of their facilities. That means the district will have lower operating costs and a lower carbon footprint within the community.

St. Patrick Catholic School is a WCEA accredited K-8 school located in Carlsbad California.

K-8 STEAM Academy is a new school in the Temecula Valley Unified School District.

Ocean Discovery Institute
Project Description

Ocean Discovery Institute (ODI) is a non-profit organization in the City Heights neighborhood of San Diego that provides tuition-free learning programs to local students living in underserved communities. ODI reaches 6,000 student a year, empowering them to someday enter a STEM field like biotech, engineering, marine biology, and many more.

Grossmont Union High School District
Project Description

Three photovoltaic systems installed at Steele Canyon High School, Granite Hills High School, and Helix High School. The three systems together will produce nearly 5 million kWh of energy per year. These projects were developed utilizing a combination of carport and ground mounted solar arrays. Each of the solar arrays provides enough electricity to offset 95% of each school’s energy needs on an annual basis.
