The Golden West College Math and Science Building is a transformative 122,747-square-foot academic facility that redefines STEM education on campus. Constructed as part of the Coast Community College District’s modernization efforts, this three-story building replaces the aging Trade-Industry 2 complex and child care facility with state-of-the-art learning environments for the Math, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences departments.
The new building includes lecture halls, computer labs, 18 wet and dry science laboratories, faculty offices, and a dedicated STEM Center, all designed to foster innovation and interdisciplinary learning. With a strong focus on functionality and sustainability, the project aligns with the campus-wide shift toward modern, technology-rich education spaces.
