Construction
With over 67 years of construction experience, we have been involved in a wide variety of projects from Education Facilities, Military Installations, Office Buildings, Hospitality Facilities and Casinos, to Cogeneration Plants and Electronic Manufacturing Environments. Our breadth of experience is a testament of our capabilities which includes extensive design build experience with in-house electrical engineering. Many of our larger projects have greatly benefited from our complete pre-construction services including engineering analysis, conceptual estimating, in-house value engineering.
Military
For over 30 years, Baker Electric has been involved in the construction of military infrastructure and facilities throughout southern California. We have designed and built all types of military electrical projects from Bachelor Enlisted Quarters to Missle Command & Fire Centers.
Power/Cogeneration
With the increasing demands on our electrical generation systems in California, Cogeneration and Peaker Plants are one answer that Baker Electric takes pride in being a part of. We have completed numerous power generation projects from microturbines to 49 kW Peaker Plants and all were completed "on-time".
Education Facilities
As school districts gain access to funding for modernizations and new construction, Baker Electric is there to partner with school districts and general contractors to create the best electrical and technological solutions for their budgets. The construction of education facilities has been a cornerstone of our business in the past and remains so in the future.
Water/Wastewater Treatment
Baker Electric has continued to provide electrical services for water / wastewater treatment plants in new construction and existing plants throughout San Diego and Riverside counties. Our skilled project teams are well versed in this industrial enviroment and bring technical expertise to the table.
Casinos
Some of our most innovative projects are represented by Baker Electric’s role in the design build efforts of three major casinos in San Diego, Imperial, and Riverside counties. We excel in this fast paced construction environment and are knowledgable in the complex electrical and systems needs of a gaming facility.

The Commercial construction category encompasses a wide variety of small to large size projects. Baker Electric has extensive experience in electronic manufacturing plants, office buildings, hospitality, medical facilities as well as light industrial projects.
Photovoltaic
Another way Baker Electric is contributing to environmental conservation efforts is our installations of Photovoltaic solar panels. We have installed hundreds of Photovoltaic systems and have become a leading installation contractor in this industry.
Multi-Family
Throughout the years Baker Electric has developed vast experience in the Residential construction market. We are skilled in multi-family projects ranging from military BEQ's to wood framed apartment and condominium complexes to inner city mid-rise condominium projects.
