Baker Electric is the leader in commercial solar electric systems for San Diego. The commercial solar division of Baker Electric is designed to meet the PV needs of business and commercial facilities. We have contracted and built solar power systems for small to large business buildings, non-profit facilities, manufacturing and distribution centers, agricultural applications, K-12 DSA School installations, OSHPD and VA Hospital applications, and government / military installations.

We have experience in roof, canopy, and ground mounted solar arrays. Our expertise allows us to analyze the electric usage requirements and provide energy-saving solutions specific to each individual project’s requirements.

Our knowledgeable and experienced staff are able to provide Design-Build support to determine the specific needs for all sizes and types of projects, as well as add to existing facilities. Baker’s experienced team can guarantee success for all of your future PV needs.

In addition to our commercial solar group Baker also has a utility solar group  to handle large ground projects such as the Antelope Valley Solar Ranch 1 project and the T.A. Acacia West Antelope Solar project, both located near Lancaster, CA.

The structural steel solar carport covers 176 parking spaces and has 22 shade structures facilitating 22 photovoltaic arrays. The PV system consists of 1694 PV panels which are estimated to produce 370 kW of electricity.
